Last updated 8 September 2026
This policy explains what information Conduit.Africa collects when you use this site or a service coordinated through it, and how that information is used, shared and protected. It should be read alongside the Terms of Service.
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Conduit.Africa collects, uses, shares and protects information about you when you use the Conduit.Africa website or engage a service through it. It applies to visitors, prospective clients, and clients whose services Conduit.Africa is coordinating.
2. Information we collect
Conduit.Africa collects information you provide directly, including:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and company name;
- Information specific to your requirement, for example, company or shareholder details for a registration, passport or role details for an immigration matter, or shipment details for a freight quote;
- Documents you upload in support of a request, for example, passport copies, company certificates, or contracts; and
- Correspondence: records of enquiries, quote requests, and communications with Conduit.Africa.
Conduit.Africa also automatically collects limited technical information (such as browser type and general usage data) through standard website operation, used only to keep the site working correctly and secure. Conduit.Africa does not use this information to build advertising profiles.
3. How we use this information
Information you provide is used to:
- Scope, quote and deliver the specific service you have requested;
- Share with the specific licensed or regulated third-party provider a given requirement depends on (see Section 4);
- Process payment and maintain records required for accounting and tax purposes;
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support; and
- Meet Conduit.Africa’s own legal and regulatory obligations.
Conduit.Africa does not sell your information, and does not use it for purposes unrelated to delivering the service you requested without asking you first.
4. Who we share it with
Information is shared only where necessary to deliver your service, and only with the specific parties a given requirement depends on, for example, a bank for a banking enquiry, an accountant for tax registration, or an immigration specialist for a work permit. Each such provider is independently responsible for how it handles the information once received, in line with its own professional and regulatory obligations.
Conduit.Africa also shares information with service providers who support the operation of this website and its services on Conduit.Africa’s behalf, including hosting and payment processing. Payments are processed by PayFast, an independent PCI-compliant payment processor; Conduit.Africa does not receive or store your card details.
Conduit.Africa does not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. How long we keep it
Information is retained for as long as needed to deliver the service you requested, and afterward for as long as required to meet accounting, tax, or other legal obligations, or to resolve any dispute. Where information is no longer needed for these purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Keeping your information secure
Conduit.Africa takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you provide against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including restricting access to information to those who need it to deliver your service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Conduit.Africa cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Ask what information Conduit.Africa holds about you and receive a copy of it;
- Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected;
- Ask for information to be deleted, subject to Conduit.Africa’s legal and accounting retention obligations; and
- Object to a particular use of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@conduit.africa. Conduit.Africa will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
This site uses only the limited, strictly necessary cookies or similar technology required for it to function correctly (for example, remembering your selected display currency). It does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
9. Changes to this policy
Conduit.Africa may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, with the current version always available on this page.
10. Contact
